What we collect
Vaultly is designed around privacy-first principles. Your financial data is yours alone. We collect only what is strictly necessary to run the app and deliver your subscription.
All your financial data stays on your device. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your financial information to our servers.
The data we may collect is limited to:
- Subscription status โ managed via RevenueCat to enable premium features
- App crash logs โ anonymous error reports to improve app stability (no personal or financial data)
- Basic device info โ OS version and app version for compatibility debugging
We do NOT collect: names, email addresses, financial transactions, account balances, location data, or any other personal identifiers.
Your data, your device
All your financial data โ budgets, accounts, categories, goals, and spending history โ is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local storage.
Subscription management
Vaultly uses RevenueCat to handle in-app subscription purchases and billing. RevenueCat is a trusted, industry-standard subscription management platform.
When you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat may collect:
- Store transaction IDs (App Store / Google Play) for billing validation
- Anonymous subscriber identifiers to manage entitlement status
- Subscription tier and expiration date to unlock premium features
RevenueCat's Privacy Policy governs their data handling. We encourage you to review it. Vaultly does not share your financial data with RevenueCat.
We don't sell your data
Vaultly does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not partner with advertisers or data brokers.
The only third-party service integrated in Vaultly is RevenueCat (see above), which is used solely for subscription management. No financial data is shared with RevenueCat.
Under 13?
Vaultly is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the app or email.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
